Madeline "Maddie" Metzger
About me:
Equal parts hard-working and whimsical, still trying to figure out who exactly she wants to be when she grows up, if she ever does. She graduated from THE University of Texas at Austin where she studied communications, theatre, and dance.
Madeline caught the theatre bug at a very young age after seeing her mother perform as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance. She promptly learned the words to every single song on the cast recording. Her 5-year-old rendition of "Modern Major General" is still arguably her greatest work.
Madeline was lucky to study musical theatre at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York where she studied under and with some of the most incredible working actors and actresses in the industry today.
She hails from Arlington, TX, but after making the Big Move™ to New York in 2016, she now resides in upper Manhattan.
What others say about me:
"Metzger’s shining moment came mid first-act, in... “We Both Reached for the Gun,” where the oomph I was holding out for finally came to light, and was successfully carried throughout the showstopping number “Roxie,” until the end of the show."
